Payment terms
QuotesAll quotes are in writing and valid for 30 days. Work begins once the quote is accepted and, where applicable, the deposit received.
Standard projects50% deposit on acceptance of quote, 50% balance on delivery of final calculations and drawings — due before signed/stamped copies are released for Building Control. Payment by bank transfer; invoiced at each stage.
Trade accountsAvailable after 2 completed projects on standard terms, or by arrangement — company details plus one trade reference. 30 days net from invoice, per project or consolidated monthly. Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998 applies if overdue; new instructions may pause past 30 days overdue.
GeneralFees include up to 3 rounds of revisions — further changes are quoted separately. Calculations and drawings remain RM Structural's property and are licensed for use once paid in full.
